Marilyn’s gift of compassion for the hurting is evident in just reading the book. SInce her husband first gave me a copy on Mother’s Day, I have been able to share with many of the clients at the emergency shelter for domestic violence overcomers where I serve as Shelter Mom as well as with students who pass through my office at a local community college. Un-Break Your Heart is a Divine Treasure to any believer who has suffered from a broken heart. Broken hearts are usually associated with romance so it was difficult for me to recognize and accept this as a valid explanation for my despondency. Upon reading the first page, I found myself standing with God at the place where I’d stopped, stopped living, hoping, dreaming, praying, trusting and knowing.
